O MECOR é um programa anual iniciado e mantido por longos anos pela ATS, com o objetivo de capacitar profissionais em epidemiologia e metodologia da pesquisa epidemiológica das enfermidades respiratórias. Realização ALAT- apoio da ATS.
The 2009 MECOR courses will be held in Botucatu, São Paulo - Brazil from October 19th thru October 24th. Botucatu is a University city which is 240 km away from São Paulo.Our venue will be at the Universidade Estadual Paulista- Julho de
Mesquita Filho (State University of São Paulo). Space will be limited this year, so We suggest you apply early and be sure to let your
friends and colleagues know right away.
We will be offering Levels 1,2,3 and 4 this year. The description for all courses and applications forms can be found on the ATS website at www.thoracic.org. Once you enter click on the option "MEETINGS & COURSES" tab and then on the option "MECOR COURSES".
In order to download the application form you must click on the Courses link, found on the left side of your screen.The applications are in a pdf format so if you do not have the Acrobat Reader on your computer, do not worry. All you will have to do is download the program from the corresponding link (also on the ATS website).

The Application due date is June 15th, 2009. Acceptance emails will be sent out on July 15th, 2009. Once you are notified and confirm your presence, you will send in your tuition form of 180 dollars by July 31st, 2009.
